Named after George Washington, the founding father and first president of the country, Washington Middle School was also the first middle school established in Oahu. The school has a long and rich history, seemingly following the tradition of the leader whom it was named after. The campus is located at 1633 South king Street, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Washington Middle School is a public school that offers Grade 6 to Grade 8 education. It caters to all students in the island. Currently, the school has more than 1,000 students enrolled with a 63 teachers. It has a 17:1 student-teacher ratio, a good classroom size conducive for learning.
The institution aims to produce students with quality education who can produce quality products and services. The school also wants its students to become effective communicators. The also strives to makes its student to become critical thinkers and analytical in solving situations. These goals drive the school to improve further its curriculum offerings. Washington Middle School’s teachers and staff are dedicated towards the attainment of the school’s goals. They are striving to improve their services to the students.
