A Roman Catholic learning institution, the Saint Louis School is a college preparatory school for boys run by the “Marianists” religious order of priests under the Society of Mary. The school was founded in 1846 and is located on Wai’alae Avenue in Kaimuki, Honolulu.
Saint Louis School services Grade 4 to 12 students. The institution is fully accredited by two respected accrediting institutions, the Western Catholic Education Association and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. These accreditations serve as a basis for the quality education that Saint Louis School provides.
The school’s academic curriculum consists of three distinct courses. The school offers a college preparatory program for the boys of all sect and denomination. It also has an accelerated college preparatory program for students who want to attend prestigious colleges or universities. For the young men who are planning to attend business or trade schools, or enter the military service, or even attend a two-year community college, Saint Louis offers a program for them.
Saint Louis School also boasts of its good athletics program. It is one of the most distinguishing features of the institution. Saint Louis students always excel in the inter-island sports competitions. The football team is the school’s pride and is loved even by most of the residents of Hawaii.
