The Saint John the Baptist Catholic School of Honolulu is a sectarian educational institution run by the parish of the Roman Catholic Church of Hawaii. Its staff is composed of the priests in the Diocese and Dominican Sisters. It is a co-educational school that offers quality Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 education.

Currently, the school has 176 enrolled students with 15 full-time teachers. It has a student-teacher ratio of 12:1, a very good range that assures quality learning as the teacher can concentrate on providing education to the students. A majority of its students come from Filipino-American families. Saint John the Baptist School is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association. It is located on Omilo lane in the Kalihi district in Honolulu. The school is also currently undergoing massive technological integration to provide better facilities for the students. It aims to provide high-tech equipment for the students to use in their studies and help them develop their skills attuned with the fast-paced world.

The institution also gives special attention to nutritional health development of the students by creating a program in this line. This program consists of monitoring the students’ nutritional intake and following the USDA nutritional guidelines to ensure proper health and brain development.
