McKinley High School is a public, co-educational institution which offers grades 9 through 12. Also known as the President William McKinley High School, its original name was Fort Street English Day School when it was established in 1865. it is one of the oldest secondary schools in Honolulu.

It is located in South King St, Honolulu, Hawaii. McKinley High School is under the Hawaii State Department of Education and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

It has almost 2,000 students to date with more than a hundred teachers giving a 17 teacher-student ratio.

McKinley High School boasts of a tradition of school spirit and pride. It is known for its student activities that encourage participation among the students.

It has a long tradition of an active athletics program spanning the years since its establishment. Currently, the school houses 56 teams in a total of 21 different sports.

Likewise, McKinley has 25 clubs to date at McKinley including clubs based on nationality that promote the culture, language and traditions of these communities. Other clubs are subject-based, such as the Physics and Astronomy Club, which complement learning coupled with joy and camaraderie. During Club Days, students are encouraged to join their preferred clubs.
