Manoa Elementary School aims to develop its students into having well-rounded personalities by developing their academic, social, emotional, and physical skills to their fullest potentials. This philosophy lies in the desire to create graduates who are life-long learners, who have self-respect and appreciate civic responsibility in order to contribute to societal change.
Over the years, student performance in the Hawaii state assessment tests has proved to be in good standing. To cite an example, about 80% of students exceed benchmarks in reading, and 60% in Math benchmark. It also offers special education and pre-kindergarten.
Seeing the importance of family and community involvement in the whole learning process, organizations such as the association of parents and teachers as well as community council are maintained actively.
