Leilehua High School is a public, co-educational high school in Central O’ahu, Hawaii. It has an almost 2,000 student body with about 190 faculty and staff members.

Established in 1924, it aims to produce graduates with academic excellence thereby producing an intelligent citizenry responsive to the global needs. Because of its geography, more than 25% of the student population belongs to military families stationed in the nearby airfield.

Non-discrimination policy is being implemented in this high school, except for the geographic exceptions. Under this exception, students are required to attend the school within their district.

To ensure the school’s purpose, Leilehua has an array of programs. It conducts parent/teacher conference week to allow integration with students’ parents for relevant discussions. It has also its assessment week, a devise to allow curriculum development as well as a valuable assessment for students. It also puts emphasis on the comprehensive student support system.

Mandatory fees total $18 plus $5 for graduating students. These fees include class dues and student government dues. Other fees include the athletic activity book and publication fee.

The Leilehua High School is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, an accrediting body in the United States.
