James B. Castle High School or more commonly known as Castle High School is a public co-educational high school. The Castle High School campus is located in Kane’ohe Hawaii and yearly, it accepts an average of about 1,900 students for the grades 9th to 12th.
Currently, the school is home to 1,551 students for this academic year. Most of its students all come from suburban Kaneohe to rural Kualoa making the high school a socially and economically diverse haven for education. Another excellent and noticeable heritage of the high school was that its history shows that many of its graduates and former students come back to volunteer, teach, and work proving that the school passes on its sense of responsibility to each student.
The school was founded in 1951 and it uses the knight as its school mascot. James B. Castle High School’s colors are maroon, gold and white. Found within the campus is a sculpture each student is proud of: the Spring, Summer, Autumn by Satoru Abe. The school upholds the values of character, commitment and competence so each individual student holds on and lives on by these knightly values that were early on inculcated by the school mission.
