Academy of the Pacific website
The Academy of the Pacific, known as “A Village for Learning”, was first established to fulfill the need to have a small school environment for young men and women. The Academy of the Pacific is a special school because its main purpose is to provide personalized instruction to its few students, individual and specific scheduling for students and their classes, and a general academic environment that nurtures each individual. The Academy has a small class ratio of 10 students per class making instruction personalized and focused. The Academy has a total of about 150 students, both young men and women. The Academy of the Pacific is known for its educational curriculum and expertise tailored to fit each individual student’s abilities and styles of learning.
Parents, Academy staff, and faculty are encouraged to build a relationship based on academic abilities and physical skills, creativity and a strong sense of social responsibility. The school is made up of cottage classrooms and historic buildings all placed on a four-acre land. The small yet close-knit learning environment is very conducive to building academic standards for each student as it develops them as skilled communicators, responsible citizens, and lifelong learners.
The Academy of the Pacific is a private middle school and high school where young men and women of Hawaii can expect to get personalized education, training and development not only in the academics but also in art and sports.
